If you do by instruction you will not need another one for the life of your mini DV Camera. Problem solved. Works great. I thought I never will need it. 5 stars. I got it. But one day my camera stop working and asked for Cleaning Tape. Used as it said in instruction.
Thanks AMAZON. Nice product and Amazon sells it at a very low price. I get those horizontal gray bars on my miniDV player once in a while due to dirty tape or heads. I pop this in and it cleans the head right away.
Whats more, I only had to use it for 10 seconds so there is tons of life left in it. This little tape was inexpensive and effective. I would definitely recommend it The image on my camcorder had blank lines running through it. I couldn't find a cleaning tape at any high street retailer.
I am always happy to find the manufacturer's recommended product whenever possible. Since I have a Sony camcorder,this was a no-brainer. Even if it doesn't fix the problem, at the price this product is worth trying before having the machine serviced. After buying the Best Buy version of the same product, I found this Sony product. Since it was about half the price even with shipping, I ordered it and returned the Best Buy product.
I received no reply what so ever. They are now saying they never received the product back and I would not be receiving any refund.
Now I am out the price of the product, two separate shipping and handling charges and I don't even have the product. Even though I have the receipt from the post office sending the product back.
The product that I ordered did not fit my camcorder but that was not their fault, Sony told me the wrong product to get, although I did send the item back after this company told me I was able to, which I did send it to the address that they provided me. I finally got a hold of someone by calling them, again after repeated voice messages left.
Very un happy with this company and do not recommend them at all, Amazon should not sell their products, I have always liked using Amazon, now I am probably not going to use this site again either. After about two and a half weeks of no credit to my credit card, I E mailed them asking if they received the product back and why I was never refunded.
I told them to e mail me back and I also left my phone number to contact me by, nothing.
